POSITION SUMMARY
To supervise the administration, training, and reporting of all district and state-mandated assessment programs, as designated by the district; Monitor and track all students to ensure testing graduation requirements are met; Provide district standardized reports to campus administration regarding assessment data; and support campus administration and staff in the use of data to inform decision making.
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES
▪ Coordinate with Registrar to identify new students upon entry into campus to ensure proper testing plan for graduation.
▪ Create a system to ensure all students are tracked for testing requirements for graduation.
▪ Create testing plans for state test that is shared with student assessment which includes all state and local policy requirements.
▪ Deliver training for staff related to state test administration.
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES CONTINUED
▪ Attend all mandatory assessment offered by state as well as district level training offered by the Student Assessment Department.
▪ Maintain accurate, complete, and correct test records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
▪ Work closely with campus registrar to certify students for graduation based on test requirements.
▪ Disseminate reports and results of district-wide benchmark assessment program in a timely manner using multiple formats and online reporting.
▪ Monitor all testing procedures and report any irregularities to the Student Assessment Department Research testing records for all incoming students to ensure accurate testing history.

Education
▪ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
▪ Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for level and/or subject area of assignment.

▪ Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
▪ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
▪ Ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into focus; judge distance (close and distant); reach with arms extended and use hands to manipulate the keyboard.
▪ Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, twist, bend, climb, and/or be mobile.
▪ Ability to travel throughout the district and city by means of private or public transportation. If driving personal (or private) vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance coverage.
