JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator 2 of Production leads a team responsible for publishing high-quality instructional materials that support effective teaching and student achievement. This leader oversees strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and execution of production workflows across all content areas and grade levels. In addition to ensuring timely delivery and access to materials, the manager drives innovation by guiding the integration of multimedia content for teacher development and the use of Al tools to enhance student learning. The role focuses on continuous improvement of systems, people, and processes that bring curriculum to classrooms with clarity, consistency, and impact.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Management: Manage production timelines for curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with department goals and delivery milestones across content areas mu/ grade levels.
2. Access & Equity: Oversee systems that ensure timely and equitable access to all published materials in digital and print formats for teachers and students.

3. Technology & AI Integration: Partner with technology and instructional leadership to identify, pilot, and scale tools-including artificial intelligence-that enhance curriculum usability and student learning experience.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years working as a project manager or technology specialist in a district, central office of a large urban school district or corporation.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages. Accomplishes the majority of work objectives through the management of direct reports.
Provides day-to-day directions to staff; may become directly involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. Responsible for assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring application of policies and procedures. Receives assignments in the form of objectives, with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides input to hiring, performance and budget.
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work is substantially complex, varied and regularly requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Independent judgment is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate methods as well as interpret precedent. Position regularly makes recommendations to management on areas of significance to the department. Supervision received typically consists of providing direction on the more complex projects and new job duties and priorities.
