JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator 2 of Federal and State Compliance – Data Management is responsible for leading the data processes around Ed-Fi related to all state and federal reporting. The Coordinator 2 works with other districts, IT, and the SIS vendor to ensure smooth processes related to Ed-Fi and reporting from the district to the state. This role requires an advanced skillset of data and analytics skills, expertise in K-12 data reporting at the district, state, and federal levels as well as proven leadership experience within teams.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the Ed-Fi process for the academics data sets.
- Leads the data collection and transformation work for state and federal reporting.
- Coordinates data and analytics work with coordination work with data analysts, data technicians, IT, academia, and practitioners to ensure alignment and cohesion of the work across the district.
- Conducts complex data validations with a strong aptitude for pattern and data validation detection within the customer experience and qualitative space.
- Proactively identifies trends in data to be reported and recommends remediation, supports, continuation, or other plans to address.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.
