JOB SUMMARY

The Production Coordinator 1 oversees the end-to-end workflow for publishing high-quality curriculum materials that support teacher implementation and student success. This role ensures the on-time delivery and accessible distribution of instructional documents by managing production timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and streamlining publishing processes. The position also drives innovation by integrating multimedia content for teacher development and exploring Al tools that enhance student learning experiences

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.        Project Management: Manage production timelines for curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with department goals and delivery milestones across content areas and grade levels.
2.        Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the point of contact between curriculum design, assessment, technology, and publishing teams to ensure seamless document development and rollout.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED

3.        Multimedia & Professional Leaming: Integrate multimedia components (e.g., videos, walkthroughs, interactive guides) to support teacher understanding, internalization, and application of curriculum resources.
4.        Innovation & Al Integration: Collaborate with instructional technology and content teams to explore and implement artificial intelligence (Al) tools that can extend student learning and personalize instructional support.
5.        Other duties as assigned.
 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

3 to 5 years

SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION

Microsoft Office
Office equipment
At least 3 years working as a project manager or technology specialist in a district/central office of a large urban school district or corporation.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice, and training to staff.

WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT

Work is substantially complex, varied and regularly requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Independent judgment is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate methods as well as interpret precedent. Position regularly makes recommendations to management on areas of significance to the department. Supervision received typically consists of providing direction on the more complex projects and new job duties and priorities.

No budget development activity is required.
