JOB SUMMARY

This CTM-Unit CCMR Support supports a team of coordinators with supporting a portfolio of campuses
with executing on district GTE, advanced academics and CCMR strategy. The role works closely with a
team of Coordinator Is within an assigned division.. Relevant activities include implementing program
compliance systems, delivering district-wide trainings, supporting CTE curriculum execution, supporting
scheduling and credential acquisition along with developing their team.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.        Lead a team to drive IBC, advanced academics and CCMR outcomes by monitoring assessment implementation, supporting testing logistics, and ensuring timely execution of interventions for college and career readiness.
2.        Oversee the use of data trackers, ensuring weekly accuracy, analyzing performance trends, and guiding campus action planning while providing clear, data-driven updates on progress, risks, and next steps.
3.        Facilitate and coach high-quality PLCs and district professional development focused on CTE industiy alignment, advanced academics (AP/IB/dual credit), exemplars, and increasing rigor in IBC and college readiness pathways.
4.        Ensure effective curriculum implementation by guiding alignment to TEKS, pacing expectations, IBC standards, and dual credit/advanced academics requirements, with consistent monitoring for fidelity'.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED

5.        Partner strategically with their team and campus leaders and teachers to strengthen master scheduling, instructional implementation, and student outcomes across college and career readiness indicators.
6.        Coordinate their team to manage operational systems and logistics, including device readiness, assessment administration, field experiences, work-based learning opportunities, and external business partnership initiatives in service of CCMR outcomes

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as a teacher and/or administrator, particularly in CTE, strongly preferred
3 to 5 years

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Level 3-Manages. Accomplishes the majority of work objectives through the management of direct reports. Provides day-to-day directions to staff; may become directly involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. Responsible for assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring application of policies and procedures. Receives assignments in the form of objectives, with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides input to hiring, performance and budget.

WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT

-Work is substantially complex, varied and regularly requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Independent judgment is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate methods as well as interpret precedent. Position regularly makes recommendations to management on areas of significance to the department. Supervision received typically consists of providing directions on the more complex projects and new job duties and priorities.

BUDGET AUTHORITY

-No budget development activity is required. 

PROBLEM SOLVING

-Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.

IMPACT OF DECISIONS

-Decisions have minor, small and possibly incremental impact on the department or facility. Errors are usually discovered in succeeding operations where most of the work is verified or checked and is normally confined to a single department or phase of the organizational activities resulting in brief inconvenience.

COMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS

-Collaborate and solve problems - work with others to resolve problems, clarify, or interpret complex information/policies, and provide initial screening/negotiations without approval authority. Interactions are typically with customers, senior level professional staff, and managers.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

-Leads others in the resolution of highly sensitive and confidential issues on behalf of the department. Acts as a trusted advisor and becomes involved in the customer's decision-making process including presenting alternatives and information and applying persuasion and negotiation skills in the resolution of problems. Monitors customer service standards.

-Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
