JOB SUMMARY

The CTM of Performance Management, in collaboration with the Director and Executive Director of Performance Management, supports the creation and implementation of teacher and leader appraisal systems and processes. The CTM is managed by the Director of Performance Management and will directly support the Director with day-to-day and large-scale evaluation operations. The CTM of Performance Management oversees evaluation systems such as student survey implementation, appraisal platforms, teacher and leader evaluation SharePoint sites and affiliated resources, and the development, enhancement, and implementation of evaluation guides and resources. The CTM of Performance Management thought partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between teacher and leader performance and student outcomes.
 

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the implementation of performance management systems, including and not limited to student survey implementation, resource creation and sharing, appraisal software implementation and maintenance, teacher performance and leader performance dashboards , teacher and leader SharePoint site maintenance, and internal and external stakeholder communication systems centered on evaluation.
  • Supports the Director of Performance Management in identifying opportunities to create or refine evaluation systems, leading to tighter alignment between student achievement outcomes and teacher and leader performance data.
  • Monitors teacher and leader evaluation and development systems and data to ensure campus, division, and district compliance with local, legal, and regulatory policies at the district, state, and local levels.
     

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED

  • Create and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful implementation of all projects.
  • Coordinate team resources and activities to meet project timelines and achieve desired outcomes, while mitigating risks and conflicts that may arise.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
     

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (depending on the specific requirements of the cross-functional team)    
 

WORK EXPERIENCE

3 Years Experience working in cross-functional teams or projects.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing typically involves monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of same duties they are leading.    
 

WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT

Work is non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables including significant time spent planning, evaluating complex solutions and issues, and negotiating outcomes. Strong analytic ability and inductive thinking are frequently required to devise new approaches to situations where previously accepted solutions have proven inadequate. Position regularly makes recommendations to management on areas of significance to the division. Supervision received typically consists of providing periodic coaching, advice, and feedback.
 

BUDGET AUTHORITY

No budget development activity is required.

Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.

Decisions have considerable impact to multiple divisions or the organization causing risks or improvements to relationships, significant efficiencies, or delays in operations, and/or significant financial gains or expenses. Errors are serious and difficult to discover, normally involve decisions not subject to detailed review and will result in excessive costs and/or significant project delays.    
 

COMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS

Negotiate and influence – interprets department strategies and services, resolves conflicts, influences outcomes on matters of significance for the division, conducts final negotiations and coordinates approvals/decision making below the executive level. Interactions are typically with customers and Top Management.    
 

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

Leads others in the resolution of highly sensitive and confidential issues on behalf of the department. Acts as a trusted advisor and becomes involved in the customer's decision-making process including presenting alternatives and information and applying persuasion and negotiation skills in the resolution of problems. Monitors customer service standards.    
 

WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Ability to carry and/or lift less than 15 pounds.
