JOB SUMMARY
The Cross Functional Team Member- Organizational Effectiveness is an integral part of both the Organizational Effectiveness and Chief of Staff Offices. The primary role of the CTM is to collaborate with team members, contribute expertise, and work towards achieving common goals across projects, teams, and initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Organize and lead out cross-functional teams composed of individuals from different departments and functional areas.
2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's strategic objectives and work collaboratively with the team to align project goals with the overall vision.
3. Define project scopes, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
4. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation, to ensure successful execution.
5. Manage and coordinate resources within the team to ensure the timely completion of projects and achievement of desired outcomes.
6. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication, knowledge sharing and cross-functional problem-solving.
7. Provide effective leadership and guidance to the cross-functional team, including goal setting, performance evaluations, coaching and professional development.

8. Act as a liaison between the cross-functional team and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges and opportunities
9. Identify and mitigate risks, conflicts and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, gather feedback and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
11. Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
12. Leverage project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes, improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement within the team.
13. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the projects and functional areas within the team.
14. Promote a positive team culture that values diversity, collaboration, innovation and accountability.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
WORK EXPERIENCE
5 Years Experience working and leading cross-functional teams or projects.
SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION

• Work Leadership.
• Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility.
• Leading and directing typically involves monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues
• Most of work time is spent performing many of same duties they are leading.

• Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied
• Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources.
• Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.

WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with applicable insurance coverage
• Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including personal computer and peripherals
• Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
• Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
• Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
