JOB SUMMARY
The Cross-Functional Team Member (CTM) - LEAD/EDAS Support. under the supervision of the Director of Performance Management - Leader Evaluations, and in collaboration with the Executive Director of Performance Management, supports the vision and implementation of the Leader Effectiveness and Development (LEAD) system and the Executive Director Appraisal System (EDAS). The CTM of LEAD/EDAS support is primarily responsible for collecting. codifying, reporting. and drafting a response plan to LEAD and EDAS data, this data are collected from stakeholder groups. evaluation system implementation tasks/activities, and outcomes from our local evaluation systems and state/national assessments. The Cross-Functional Team Member - LEAD/EDAS Support is a strong project manager, experienced educator and leader. and fully believes that a fair and accurate teacher evaluation system serves to directly improve outcomes for students.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Create, modify, and pilot Leader evaluation tools; utilize leader performance data and student achievement data to strategically drive the implementation of these tools.
2. Plan and execute stakeholder engagement opportunities to gather feedback and input on leader evaluation at HISD.
3. Create and facilitate stakeholder training in Leader evaluation systems.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED
4. Collaborate with internal and external team stakeholders to ensure LEAD and EDAS tightly align with Superintendent, District, and Departmental policies and vision and keeps student outcomes at its forefront.
5. Coordinate team resources and activities to meet project timelines and achieve desired outcomes, while mitigating risks and conflicts that may arise.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years of experience working in cross-functional teams or projects
SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Microsoft Office

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.

Work is non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables including significant time spent planning, evaluating complex solutions and issues, and negotiating outcomes. Strong analytic ability and inductive thinking are frequently required to devise new approaches to situations where previously accepted solutions have proven inadequate. Position regularly makes recommendations to management on areas of significance to the division. Supervision received typically consists of providing periodic coaching, advice, and feedback.

Leads others in the resolution of highly sensitive and confidential issues on behalf of the department. Acts as a trusted advisor and becomes involved in the customer's decision-making process including presenting alternatives and information and applying persuasion and negotiation skills in the resolution of problems. Monitors customer service standards.
