JOB SUMMARY
Leads data strategy, analytics, and performance management for district Advanced Academics programs, including gifted and talented, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, dual credit, honors, and other accelerated learning pathways. Oversee reporting systems, monitors key performance indicators, drives continuous improvement efforts, and manages staff supporting data operations and program analysis.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead districtwide Advanced Academics data strategy, including governance, reporting priorities, dashboard development, and alignment to organizational goals
2. Analyze participation, access, achievement, course success, assessment outcomes, and postsecondary readiness indicators to identify trends, gaps, and strategic opportunities
3. Provide executive-level reports, presentations, forecasts, and recommendations to
leadership regarding Advanced Academics performance and growth strategies
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED
4. Oversee data validation, audits, compliance submissions, and collaboration with PEIMS, Accountability, Curriculum, IT, and campus teams
5. Lead special projects, system improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives related to accelerated learning programs
6. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's required, Master’s preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
7+ years
Experience in educational data systems, accountability reporting, program evaluation, analytics, strategic planning, or district operations
SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Microsoft Office
Advanced Excel, Data visualization, Dashboard development, Strategic planning, Statistical analysis, Program evaluation, Performance management, Staff coaching, Written communication, Project management.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages. Accomplishes the majority of work objectives through the management of direct reports. Provides day-to-day directions to staff; may become directly involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. Responsible for assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring application of policies and procedures. Receives assignments in the form of objectives, with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides input to hiring, performance and budget.
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.

Participates in a group plan and/or budget development.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.

Decisions have minor, small and possibly incremental impact on the department or facility. Errors are usually discovered in succeeding operations where most of the work is verified or checked and is normally confined to a single department or phase of the organizational activities resulting in brief inconvenience.

Collaborate and solve problems - work with others to resolve problems, clarify, or interpret complex information/policies, and provide initial screening/negotiations without approval authority. Interactions are typically with customers, senior level professional staff, and managers.

Takes routine or required customer actions to meet customer needs. Responds promptly and accurately to customer complaints, inquiries and requests for information and coordinates appropriate follow-up. May handle escalated issues passed on from coworkers or subordinates.
